A ação antidepressiva do Doxepin foi estudada em 17 pacientes internados. Em 8 casos foi feito o diagnóstico de psicose maníaco-depressiva, em 7 de depressão psiconeurótica e, em dois, de depressão involutiva. O tempo de tratamento variou de 10 a 42 dias.
