Application of Group‐Theoretical Approaches in Structural Natural Frequency Analyses

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 7, 15 April 2026.
ABSTRACT Group theory has profoundly advanced physics and chemistry in systems with symmetries. Yet its use in structural engineering applications has not yet been fully explored beyond the aesthetics of symmetric designs. This work addresses two significant gaps that have limited the broader adoption of group‐theoretic methods in structural vibration ...

Solid state fermentation of amylase production from Bacillus subtilis D19 using agro-residues

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University - Science, 2020
Abstract The selected bacterial strain, Bacillus subtilis D19 was inoculated into the solid residues such as, wheat bran, banana peel, orange peel, rice bran and pine apple peel. Among the tested solid wastes, wheat bran showed enhanced the production of amylase (640 U/g) than other tested substrates.

The Transcription Factors Six3 and Six6 in Neuromedin‐S Neurons Differentially Affect Circadian Rhythms

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience Research, Volume 104, Issue 4, April 2026.
Six3 and Six6 are necessary for the development of the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), and both remain expressed after SCN neurogenesis. We implemented a Neuromedin‐S (NMS)‐cre mouse model to conditionally knockout either Six3 or Six6 from the SCN to determine the post‐proliferative roles of these transcription factors in hypothalamic and circadian ...

Resistance of Tectona grandis To Ceratocystis Wilt

open access: yesForest Pathology, Volume 56, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Tectona grandis (teak) is a tree species highly appreciated for its high‐quality hardwood and versatile industrial applications. Despite clonal teak plantations showing several advantages, such as reduced rotation time and increased wood volume production, the genetic uniformity of plantations makes them more susceptible to diseases ...

PLANNING FOR RETAINING WALLS ON THE TANJUNG PAKIS AJI JEPARA VILLAGE ROAD

open access: yesJurnal Civil Engineering Study
Retaining walls are a ground control technique that is very necessary to overcome landslides. As happened in the Tanjung Pakis Aji village area. It has steep slopes and there are indications that landslides often occur during the rainy season.

In the gravid human uterus, oxytocin induces smooth muscle cell contraction via transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 channel activation

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, Volume 604, Issue 7, Page 3135-3158, 1 April 2026.
Abstract figure legend In gravid human uterus smooth muscle, the oxytocin receptor (OXTR) and transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) calcium channel colocalize at <40 nm by proximity ligation. TRPV4 is necessary for oxytocin‐induced calcium influx and contractility in uterine smooth muscle cells.
