Inflation expectations proprieties during the war: The case of Ukraine
This study compares consumer and professional inflation expectations in Ukraine before and during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We apply entropy-based measures to tackle co-movements of expectations and macro variables (inflation, food inflation ...

Tri-Bimaximal Neutrino Mixing and Discrete Flavour Symmetries [PDF]
We review the application of non-Abelian discrete groups to Tri-Bimaximal (TB) neutrino mixing, which is supported by experiment as a possible good first approximation to the data.

In the present study, it is found that in osteosarcoma, lactate‐activated HCAR1 promotes β‐arrestin 2 translocation from cytoplasm to nucleus. In the nucleus, β‐arrestin 2 recruits PP2A to the activated STAT1/2 dimers, mediating STAT1/2 dephosphorylation and inhibiting the transcription of downstream anti‐oncogenes to promote OS progression.

Although deslorelin slow-release implants are widely used in the clinic, detailed published information about the recovery of testosterone concentrations (T), semen quality, and testicular and prostatic volume (TV, PV) after treatment is still missing ...

Effect of bank height on morphodynamics in a one‐sided widened gravel‐bed river
Locally widened river reaches can lead to unexpectedly stable morphologies. Conducted mobile‐bed laboratory experiments combined with 2D hydrodynamic numerical simulations showed suppressed morphodynamic activity with varying bank heights and high sediment supply.

We target large floods in the braided reach of an Alpine river and use seismic observations to investigate sediment transport conditions. For the seven floods recorded over 5 years, we observe a consistent break in the scaling relationship between the low‐frequency seismic power and the high‐frequency seismic power, suggesting a change in bedload ...

The Black Hole Particle Accelerator as a Machine to make Baby Universes [PDF]
General relativity predicts that the inner horizon of an astronomically realistic rotating black hole is subject to the mass inflation instability. The inflationary instability acts like a gravity-powered particle accelerator of extraordinary power ...

The width of the Jamuna River over the past half‐century has responded to decadal‐scale variability in channel‐forming flood flows and changes in bank strength. Large interannual fluctuations in channel width closely match regime width predictions for equilibration to the monsoon season (91‐day peak) discharge.
