The hierarchical Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) in Taiwan is constructed for Regional (RUTM under 400 feet) and National (NUTM above 400 feet) operations. The proposed ADS-B Like on-board unit (OBU) broadcasts 90 Byte flight data from UAV to UTM cloud and displays for surveillance.

DaaS: DDoS Mitigation-as-a-Service
2011 IEEE/IPSJ International Symposium on Applications and the Internet, 2011DaaS is a service that protects a server against all 3 types of Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS), arbitrary packet, legit user-mimicking and economic attacks. For arbitrary packet DDoS defense, DaaS's framework facilitates harness of intermediaries that relay traffic to a server so that their total resource exceeds those of DDoS bots.

Anonymous Authentication with TLS and DAA
2010Anonymous credential systems provide privacy-preserving authentication solutions for accessing services and resources. In these systems, copying and sharing credentials can be a serious issue. As this cannot be prevented in software alone, these problems form a major obstacle for the use of fully anonymous authentication systems in practice.

Composing Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) for Delivery
2019 IEEE International Conference on Web Services (ICWS), 2019We propose a novel composition framework for drone-based package delivery services termed as Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS). The proposed framework includes a spatio-temporal service model and a quality model for DaaS. A drone service selection algorithm is designed using 3D Rtree.

Cyclo(DAA-DAA) dipeptide as a peptide linker and β-sheet inducer
Chemical Physics Letters, 2020The utilizing of cyclo(DAA-DAA) molecule composed of two cyclized double amino acids (DAA) and representing functionalized 2,5-diketopiperazines (DKPs) is proposed and discussed. On the basis of theoretical studies employing ab initio and density functional theory methods it is demonstrated that the cyclo(DAA-DAA) compound may serve as a peptide linker

DAA-TZ: An Efficient DAA Scheme for Mobile Devices Using ARM TrustZone
2015Direct Anonymous Attestation (DAA) has been studied for applying to mobile devices based on ARM TrustZone. However, current solutions bring in extra performance overheads and security risks when adapting existing DAA schemes originally designed for PC platform. In this paper, we propose a complete and efficient DAA scheme (DAA-TZ) specifically designed

On Proofs of Security for DAA Schemes
2008Direct anonymous attestation (DAA) is a mechanism for a remote user to provide a verifier with some assurance it is using software and/or hardware from trusted sets of software and/or hardware respectively. In addition, the user is able to control if and when a verifier is able to link two signatures: to determine whether or not they were produced by ...
