Delamination identification of CFRP structure using discriminant analysis via the support vector machine

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2014
This paper is about damage diagnosis using discriminant analysis via the support vector machine(SVM). For evaluation of reliability of the structure, condition of the structure is divided to several condition levels by the threshold in many cases.

Damage Identification of Stay Cables Based on a Small Amount of Deflection Monitoring Data

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
For the problem of cable damage identification in cable-stayed bridges, we have presented a method for identifying cable damage based on deflection monitoring data from a small number of measurement points.

Damage identification in a concrete beam using curvature difference ratio

open access: yes, 2011
Previous studies utilising changes in mode shape or curvature to locate damage rely on the fact that the greatest change occurs around the defect. However, in concrete beams this fact is undermined due to the nature of the defect as distributed multi ...

Biodiversity assessment of Yunnan province based on the pressure-state-response model

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and Evolution
Biodiversity is the foundation of human survival, and its accurate assessment is a prerequisite for effective conservation and sustainable use. Most studies only assessed the state of biodiversity, but lacked a comprehensive understanding of the ...

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Large amplitude vibrations and damage detection of rectangular plates

open access: yes, 2008
In this work, geometrically nonlinear vibrations of fully clamped rectangular plates are used to study the sensitivity of some nonlinear vibration response parameters to the presence of damage.

Model-Free Method for Damage Localization of Grid Structure

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
A model-free damage identification method for grid structures based on displacement difference is proposed. The inherent relationship between the displacement difference and the position of structural damage was deduced in detail by the Sherman− ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Damage identification in a complex truss structure using modal characteristics correlation method and sensitivity-weighted search space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Damage identification for complex structures is a challenging task due to large amount of structural elements, limited number of measured modes and uncertainties in referenced numerical models.
