Objectives The interleukin (IL)‐1, IL‐6, and C‐reactive protein (CRP) pathway is central to the immune response after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). We tested for associations between hematoma and plasma cytokine concentrations and patient outcomes in Minimally Invasive Surgery Plus Rt‐PA for ICH Evacuation Phase III (MISTIE III) participants ...

Calculation of longitudinal residual capacity of ship with large crevasse
[Objectives] The calculation of the ultimate residual capacity of a ship with a large crevasse is influenced by such factors as the location and size of the crevasse, floating state of the ship and nonlinear coupling.[Methods] A ship hull with a large ...

3D Simulation of Ship Motions to Support the Planning of Rescue Operations on Damaged Ships
AbstractThe paper describes a software system to simulate the ship motions in a crisis situation. The scenario consists of a damaged ship subjected to wave excitation forces generated by a random sea state. The simulation is displayed in an interactive Virtual Environment allowing the visualization of the ship motions.
