New channel to search for dark matter at Belle II

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose a new “disappearing positron track” channel at Belle II to search for dark matter, in which a positron that is produced at the primary interaction vertex scatters with the electromagnetic calorimeter to produce dark matter particles.

Updated Post-WMAP Benchmarks for Supersymmetry

open access: yes, 2003
We update a previously-proposed set of supersymmetric benchmark scenarios, taking into account the precise constraints on the cold dark matter density obtained by combining WMAP and other cosmological data, as well as the LEP and b -> s gamma constraints.

Top-philic Vector-Like Portal to Scalar Dark Matter

open access: yes, 2018
We investigate the phenomenology of scalar singlet dark matter candidates that couple dominantly to the Standard Model via a Yukawa interaction with the top quark and a colored vector-like fermion.

Production of dark photons through higher electromagnetic moments at LDMX: simulations and model discrimination

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We extend the projected sensitivity of LDMX for sub-GeV dark matter (DM) to the case of dark photons produced through higher order electromagnetic moments. These moments arise from loop diagrams involving portal matter fields, along with the gauge fields

Distinguishing Dynamical Dark Matter at the LHC

open access: yes, 2012
Dynamical dark matter (DDM) is a new framework for dark-matter physics in which the dark sector comprises an ensemble of individual component fields which collectively conspire to act in ways that transcend those normally associated with dark matter ...

Probing left-handed heavy neutral leptons in the Vector Scotogenic Model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this work, we consider an extension to the Standard Model composed by a Massive Vector Doublet under SU(2) L and a Left-handed Heavy Neutral Lepton.

Production of light dark particles from nonlinear Compton scattering between intense laser and muon or proton beam

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The laser of an intense electromagnetic field promotes the studies of strong-field particle physics in high-intensity frontier. Particle accelerator facilities in the world produce high-quality muon and proton beams.

Probing exotic long-lived particles from the prompt side using the CONTUR method

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A method to derive constraints on new physics models featuring exotic long-lived particles using detector-corrected measurements of prompt states is presented.

Portal Matter and Dark Sector Phenomenology at Colliders

open access: yes, 2022
If dark matter (DM) interacts with the Standard Model (SM) via the kinetic mixing (KM) portal, it necessitates the existence of massive, likely $\gsim 1$ TeV, enabler portal matter (PM) particles that carry both dark and SM quantum numbers which will appear in vacuum polarization-like loop graphs.

Laser induced Compton scattering to dark matter in effective field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The detection of light dark matter (DM) is a longstanding challenge in terrestrial experiments. High-intensity facilities with intense electromagnetic field may provide a plausible strategy to study strong-field particle physics and search for light DM ...
