Data-Driven Dynamic Internal Model Control

IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics
A data-driven dynamic internal model control (D3IMC) scheme is proposed for unknown nonlinear nonaffine systems bypassing modeling steps. Different from the traditional internal model constructed by either a first-principle or an identified model, a dynamic internal model (DIM) is developed in this work using I/O data where a compact form dynamic ...

Data-driven Self-optimizing Control

2014
Abstract Selection of controlled variables (CVs) plays a crucial role in overall operational performance. Existing approaches for CV selection based on the self-optimizing control (SOC) strategy are model-driven. Selection of CVs using rigorous nonlinear process models requires linearization around nominal operating point.

Control- Versus Data-Driven Workflows

2007
Workflow is typically defined as a sequence of operations or tasks needed to manage a business process or computational activity (Chapter 1). The representation of the sequence of operations or tasks is handled in many different ways by different people and varies from simple scripting languages, through graphs represented in textual or graphical form,

Data-Driven Filtering and Control

2018
The bottleneck in solving real-life data processing problems, such as dynamic measurement in metrology, noise cancellation in acoustics, and ranking papers in scientometrics is obtaining an adequate model for the data generating process. Classical modeling methods ignore the subsequent usage of the model for design of a predictor, controller, or ...

Data-driven wind plant control

2014
Each wind turbine in a cluster of wind turbines (a wind power plant) can influence the performance of other turbines through the wake that forms downstream of its rotor. The wake has a reduced wind velocity, since the turbine extracts energy from the flow, and the obstruction by the wind turbine rotor causes increased turbulence.
