Immobilization of Daucus Carota Protoplasts
1983During the last years many successful experiments have been carried out on the immobilization of plant cells in various polymers (1). Protoplasts lacking cell walls are very sensitive to mechanical forces, however it is possible to stabilize these fragile cells with immobilization.
