Space-vector-modulated three-level inverters with a single Z-source network [PDF]
The Z-source inverter is a relatively recent converter topology that exhibits both voltage-buck and voltage-boost capability. The Z-source concept can be applied to all dc-to-ac, ac-to-dc, ac-to-ac, and dc-to-dc power conversion whether two-level or ...

We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...

New method for designing parallel loaded DC-AC power converters [PDF]
In current work is presented one comprehensive method for design of resonant parallel loaded DC-AC power converters (inverters). The method is based on a new simplified approach to analysing such power devices. It is based on an assumed resonance action in finding connections between input and output variables regardless of other modes of operation ...

Flexible piezopolymer ultrasound transducers are engineered by tailoring the electrode–piezopolymer interface using metallic, flake‐based, and porous graphene electrodes. Laser‐induced graphene's porous structure enables polymer infiltration, strengthening interfacial coupling and enhancing piezoelectric response and acoustic output.
