Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

Capacitorless DC-DC converter

Proceedings of the 2014 IEEE Emerging Technology and Factory Automation (ETFA), 2014
Linear-assisted DC/DC converters (or linear-switching hybrid DC/DC converters) consist of a voltage linear regulator (classic NPN or nMOS topologies and LDO) connected in parallel with a switching DC/DC converter. In order to control these hybrid structures, different strategies exist, allowing to fix the switching frequency as a function of some ...

A converter based on energy injection control for AC-AC, AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC conversion

2018 13th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2018
Unlike the traditional converter, this paper analyses the feature of the converter based on energy injection control, which can achieve the AC-AC, AC-DC, DC-DC and DC-AC conversion. The detailed operations of the switches in energy injection mode and free oscillation mode are described.

An educational tool for DC-DC converter

2011 10th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering, 2011
In this study, an educational tool has been prepared for a shorter term and more economic education of power electronics circuits. Virtual instruments and distributed systems are of great interest to create advanced and flexible teaching and experimentation environments for measurement technologies at limited costs.
