Overcurrent protection in pulse-width controlled DC-to-DC converters
1976 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 1976A current-limiting circuit for use in pulse width controlled dc-to-dc converters is described. This circuit ensures reliable converter operation by providing device protection against various transient overcurrent stresses as well as against output overload conditions.
