Combination therapy studies with the vascular disruptive agent combretastatin-a4-phosphate (CA4P) [PDF]
CA4P leads to rapid vascular shutdown of tumour core, with minimal effects at the well perfused periphery. CA4P showed minimal anti-tumour activity in single agent phase I studies.

Computer-aided diagnosis of breast DCE-MRI using pharmacokinetic model and 3-D morphology analysis
Three-dimensional (3-D) dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) consists of a large number of images in different enhancement phases which are used to identify and characterize breast lesions.

Abbreviated MRI and Ultrafast MRI of the Breast
ABSTRACT Detection of breast cancer in MRI requires fast, dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) imaging covering the immediate post‐contrast phase, that is, the first 60 s after contrast injection. This ensures selective depiction of invasive cancer as well as DCIS against an otherwise dark background, that is, before background parenchymal enhancement (BPE)

(A) Representative Kep parametric maps of female athymic nude mice bearing orthotopic MDA-MB-435 tumors on days 0 and 3 after different treatments were initiated. Decreased Kep values were observed on day 3 in both A and A-P groups.

ABSTRACT Background Accurate preoperative characterization of breast lesions is important for individualized management. The conventional monoexponential (Mono) model has limited ability to capture the complex microstructure of lesions. Non‐Gaussian diffusion models, including continuous‐time random walk (CTRW) and fractional‐order calculus (FROC), may

ABSTRACT Background Long‐acting muscarinic antagonists/long‐acting beta adrenoreceptor agonists lead to lung deflation and improved microvascular perfusion in hyperinflated chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), but with an unclear time course. Purpose To investigate the effect of inhalation of tiotropium/olodaterol (TIO/OLO) on MRI measures of ...
