Ripple free deadbeat control of sampled-data systems
In this thesis, we consider the ripple-free deadbeat control problem for linear, multivari- able sampled-data systems represented by state-space models. Existing results concern ing the deadbeat/ripple-free deadbeat regulation and tracking problems are based on controller configurations of either constant state-feedback or discrete dynamic output ...

Hierarchically microarchitected PLA/S/CNT cathodes are fabricated via scalable fused filament 3D printing as high‐sulfur‐loading hosts for rechargeable lithium–sulfur batteries. The assembled Li–S cells with sulfur loadings up to 17 mg cm−2 deliver an areal capacity of 9.2 mAh cm−2 and retain 96% of their discharge capacity after 100 charge–discharge ...

Multirate Ripple-Free Deadbeat Control
The design of multirate ripple-free deadbeat controllers is a complex and difficult task. The ripple-free deadbeat control problem can be solved using two approaches, the time domain approach and the polynomial approach. The time domain approach depends on a minimum energy solution and solves the problem in a state space setting.

Radiative Cooling by Green(er) Solvents‐Upcycled Polyvinyl Chloride From Drug Blisters Waste
This study explores upcycling poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) from used pharmaceutical blisters into sustainable radiative cooling materials. Using solvent separation and membrane fabrication, PVC was converted into white membranes paired with aluminum foil.

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Soft Robotic Snake with Tunable Undulatory Gait for Efficient Underwater Locomotion
This study designs an underwater soft snake robot using 3D‐printed soft actuators, controlled by specific signals to generate sinusoidal undulation. Results show a positive correlation between speed and swing amplitude, with optimal performance at 2/3π phase offset, PLA tail, 1.2 voltage growth rate, and 6s undulation period achieving a maximum speed ...
