Nonmonotonic Temperature-dependent Resistance in Low Density 2D Hole Gases
The low temperature longitudinal resistance-per-square Rxx(T) in ungated GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells of high peak hole mobility 1.7x10^6 cm^2/Vs is metallic for 2D hole density p as low as 3.8x10^9 cm-2. The electronic contribution to the resistance, R_{el}

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Valorization of moroccan olive stones by using it in particleboard panels
The main objective of this work was to find new applications to valorize olive stones (endocarp and seed). In order to improve knowledge on olive stones, the phenolic compounds concentration of three varieties of Moroccan olive trees: Moroccan Picholine,

Evidence for crossed Andreev reflection in superconductor-ferromagnet hybrid structures
We have measured the non-local resistance of aluminum-iron spin-valve structures fabricated by e-beam lithography and shadow evaporation. The sample geometry consists of an aluminum bar with two or more ferromagnetic wires forming point contacts to the ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Electric resistance tomography and stress wave tomography for decay detection in trees—a comparison study [PDF]
Background To ensure the safety of trees, two NDT (nondestructive testing) techniques, electric resistance tomography and stress wave tomography, were employed to quantitatively detect and characterize the internal decay of standing trees.

Scots pine heartwood is known to have resistance to wood decay due to the presence of extractives, namely stilbenes and resin acids. However, previous studies have indicated that these extractives are degradable by wood decaying fungi.

Decay and termite resistance of phthaloylated wood

Resistively controlled primordial magnetic turbulence decay
Context. Magnetic fields generated in the early Universe undergo turbulent decay during the radiation-dominated era. The decay is governed by a decay exponent and a decay time. It has been argued that the latter is prolonged by magnetic reconnection, which depends on the microphysical resistivity and viscosity.
