Physical Layer Security of NOMA with Decode-and-Forward Relaying in Underlay CR Network
International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing, 2020This paper investigates the physical layer security of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with decode-and-forward (DF) relays in underlay cognitive radio (CR) network.

Multiple-access decode-and-forward relaying with iterative detection and decoding
2010 3rd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network and Multimedia Technology (IC-BNMT), 2010In this paper, we propose a novel protocol for cooperative diversity based on decode-and-forward (DF) with iterative detection and decoding (IDD) receiver. Closed-form expression of outage probability is derived under quasi-static fading channels. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme achieves higher diversity order than traditional DF scheme

Optimum Decoding of Full Decode and Forward Scheme over Cooperative Relay Channels
VTC Spring 2009 - IEEE 69th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2009Optimum decoding of the cooperative full decode and forward (DF) scheme is derived. It is shown that optimum decoding requires marginalization of a so called partially observed likelihood function over all relay decoder outcomes. Bhattacharyya bound on relay decoding error is used to fully factorize the partially observed likelihood function.

Ressource management for Amplify and Forward and Decode and Forward relaying systems
2010 XIth International Workshop on Symbolic and Numerical Methods, Modeling and Applications to Circuit Design (SM2ACD), 2010This paper addresses the optimization of ressource allocation based on Decode and Forward (DF) or Amplify and Forward (AF) relaying techniques for packet access Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) networks. A power allocation quasi-optimal solution with a low complexity has been proposed for the two forwarding techniques.

A decoding procedure for compress-and-forward and quantize-and-forward relaying
2012 50th Annual Allerton Conference on Communication, Control, and Computing (Allerton), 2012In this paper, a decoding procedure is developed for both the compress-and-forward (CF) and the short message quantize-and-forward (QF-SM) relaying schemes. This procedure is based on exploiting a common feature of the mapping used by both schemes to determine the relay output from the estimate of its input.

Adaptive Virtual Relaying MIMO Decode and Forward
2009 International Conference on Wireless Communications & Signal Processing, 2009Multi-antenna wireless communication systems exploit channel diversity otherwise not available in Single Input Single Output (SISO) channels. Implementation of wireless Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems is problematic due to the large sized operational wavelengths over the small dimensionality of the mobile devices.

A New Incomplete Decode-and-Forward Protocol
2008 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2008In this work, we explore the introduction of distributed space-time codes in decode-and-forward (DF) protocols. We propose a new Incomplete DF protocol, based on a partial decoding at the relays. This strategy allows the new protocol to bring both full diversity and full symbol rate.

Decode-and-forward strategies for bidirectional relaying
2008 IEEE 19th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2008We consider a three-node network, where a relay node establishes a bidirectional communication between two nodes using a two-phase decode-and-forward protocol. In the first phase the two nodes transmit their messages to the relay node which decodes them.

Improved Iterative Decoders for Turbo-Coded Decode-and-Forward Relay Channels
2012 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC Fall), 2012An Improved Maximum A Posteriori (IMAP) decoder for turbo-coded decode-and-forward (DF) relay channels which takes into account the decoding errors at the relay is analyzed. This decoder is implemented in an iterative manner similar to the traditional iterative decoder (TID) used for turbo codes.
