Research on Intelligent Oil Recovery Technology with Hydraulic Control in Offshore Oilfield

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2020
Offshore oilfield development is dominated by horizontal wells and highly deviated wells, featuring with multiple production layers and large layer conflicts. In view of the current situation that the current development method cannot realize the precise

On Secure Source Coding with Side Information at the Encoder

open access: yes, 2013
We consider a secure source coding problem with side information (S.I.) at the decoder and the eavesdropper. The encoder has a source that it wishes to describe with limited distortion through a rate limited link to a legitimate decoder. The message sent

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Miniaturization of flight deflection measurement system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
A flight deflection measurement system is disclosed including a hybrid microchip of a receiver/decoder. The hybrid microchip decoder is mounted piggy back on the miniaturized receiver and forms an integral unit therewith.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Performance evaluation of efficient combinational logic design using nanomaterial electronics

open access: yesCogent Engineering, 2017
Scaling down trend of CMOS transistor is approaching its lowest point, the rational substitute for the CMOS technology to attain advance improvements in terms of size, low power, and device density usage is an imperative essential.
