Requiring a controlled system to be decoupled may increase some performance costs, however, decoupling may be desirable from an applied perspective. The main results of the paper are an explicit quantification of decoupling cost in terms of the average quadratic tracking error.

Intelligent Decoupling Control Study of PMSM Based on the Neural Network Inverse System
This study obtains the analytical inverse system of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) model based on the traditional magnetic field orientation decoupling control mode by analyzing the inverse quality of the PMSM.

UAV trajectory tracking based on ADRC control algorithm [PDF]
UAV flying in the air is affected by external airflow factors, and the system has the characteristics of underdrive, nonlinear and uncertainty, which makes the flight state of the UAV become complicated. The trajectory tracking of UAV is studied by using

Modified approach to distillation column control [PDF]
This paper contains methodology research for forming the control algorithm for a distillation column, modeled as TITO (two-input two-output) process. Its modified form was obtained by connecting the two parts, and this combination hasn't been applied for

Dynamical decoupling of a qubit with always-on control fields
We consider dynamical decoupling schemes in which the qubit is continuously manipulated by a control field at all times. Building on the theory of the Uhrig dynamical decoupling (UDD) sequence and its connections to Chebyshev polynomials, we derive a ...

Nonlinear Decoupling in Process Control [PDF]
The principle of nonlinear decoupling as a general approach to the control of nonlinear processes is reviewed. A novel technique is introduced for resolving the inverse problem in case the nonlinear process function does not have a closed-form inverse ...

Nonperturbative dynamical decoupling with random control [PDF]
Parametric fluctuations or stochastic signals are introduced into the rectangular pulse sequence to investigate the feasibility of random dynamical decoupling. In a large parameter region, we find that the out-of-order control pulses work as well as the regular pulses for dynamical decoupling and dissipation suppression.
