Collusion in a Bertrand duopoly model with decreasing returns and product differentiation
We study cartel stability in a differentiated price-setting duopoly with returns to scale. We show that a cartel may be equally stable in the presence of lower differentiation, provided that the decreasing returns parameter is high.

The reliability and validity of decreased sound tolerance scale-screening
Decreased Sound Tolerance (DST) is a negative reaction to a sound that does not cause any reaction in an individual with normal hearing. DST's subclasses include hyperacusis, phonophobia, and misophonia, which are distinct and have therapy variations. There is no diagnostic method or scale that distinguishes them in the literature. This study's purpose

Trajectories of disability in low back pain
. Introduction:. Low back pain (LBP) is the leading course of years lived with disability. Unfortunately, not much knowledge exists about distinct trajectories of recovery from disability after LBP and their potential psychological predictors. Objectives:

We characterize the existence of a real continuous order-preserving function on a topological preordered space, under the hypotheses that the topological space is normal and the preorder satisfies a strong continuity assumption, called IC-continuity ...

Analysis of Wear-Resistant Surface with Pangolin Scale Morphology by DEM Simulation
Based on the Discrete Element Method (DEM), an abrasive wear system composed of pangolin scale models and abrasive sand was established. The wear morphology of pangolin scale models under different velocities were simulated by PFC2D®.

Liquidity management with decreasing returns to scale and secured credit line [PDF]
This paper examines the dividend and investment policies of a cash constrained firm that has access to costly external funding. We depart from the literature by allowing the firm to issue collateralized debt to increase its investment in productive assets resulting in a performance sensitive interest rate on debt.

Beam Quality Factor of Partially Coherent Airy Beam in Non-Kolmogorov Turbulence
A universal formula of the beam quality factor for a partially coherent Airy (PCA) beam in non-Kolmogorov turbulence has been investigated. Results of numerical simulation display that expanding the internal scales of non-Kolmogorov turbulence is good ...
