An Integrated NLP‐ML Framework for Property Prediction and Design of Steels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a data‐driven framework that uses language‐processing techniques to interpret steel processing descriptions and machine‐learning models to predict mechanical properties. By organising complex process histories into meaningful groups and enabling rapid property forecasts, the work supports faster, more informed steel design through ...

Rheological properties of deep-sea shallow sediments in the Western Pacific mining area

open access: yesSoils and Foundations
Studying the rheological properties of deep-sea shallow sediments can provide basic mechanical characteristics for designing deep-sea mining vehicles driving on the soft seabed, providing anchoring stability of semi-submersible mining platforms, and ...

Environmental Issues of Deep-Sea Mining

open access: yesProcedia Earth and Planetary Science, 2015
AbstractAs terrestrial mineral deposits are either depleting or of low grade, minerals from the deep-sea like the polymetallic nodules, cobalt rich crusts and polymetallicsulfides are considered as alternative sources for metals such as Cu, Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, that could be exploited in future by developing suitable technologies for mining as well as ...

Dual Covalent Targeting of STING Cysteines 292/309 Disrupts Functional Oligomerization and Enables Potent Antagonist Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a rational design strategy for STING antagonists by dual covalent targeting of Cys292/309 in its C‐terminal domain, directly preventing functional oligomerization. Through covalent warhead repurposing, we identified P005091 and revealed its unique dual‐cysteine mechanism.
