The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise
Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline

Data‐driven performance metrics for neural network learning
Summary Effectiveness of data‐driven neural learning in terms of both local mimima trapping and convergence rate is addressed. Such issues are investigated in a case study involving the training of one‐hidden‐layer feedforward neural networks with the extended Kalman filter, which reduces the search for the optimal network parameters to a state ...

Sensory-memory interactions via modular structure explain errors in visual working memory
Errors in stimulus estimation reveal how stimulus representation changes during cognitive processes. Repulsive bias and minimum variance observed near cardinal axes are well-known error patterns typically associated with visual orientation perception ...

Autonomous Wi-Fi Direct connectivity maintenance scheme
In the emergency situations, Wi-Fi Direct (WFD) can provide group-based communications between group owner (GO) and group members (GMs). However, when GO disappears voluntarily or involuntarily, the group connectivity is terminated. For the re-connection,

A Unified Framework of Deep Neural Networks by Capsules [PDF]
With the growth of deep learning, how to describe deep neural networks unifiedly is becoming an important issue. We first formalize neural networks mathematically with their directed graph representations, and prove a generation theorem about the induced networks of connected directed acyclic graphs.

Investigation of impact behavior of innovative non-curing steel fiber geopolymer composites
One of the most important factors influencing the performance of geopolymer composites is the curing temperature. The dependence of geopolymerization process on activator under high temperature is a drawback need to overcome and research.
