A Diphacinone Bait for Deer Mouse Control

Journal of Forestry, 1970
Abstract Deer mice (Peromyscus maniculatus) were found susceptible to diphacinone, and anticoagulant rodenticide. Consumption of 0.01-percent-diphacinone-treated crimped oat-groat bait for a minimum of 3 days was fatal to 80 percent of the mice, with longer exposures to groups of test animals frequently producting 100 percent mortality.
