SOME FEATURES OF ATMOSPHERIC-LITHOSPHERIC OBSERVATIONS OF ACOUSTIC EMISSION AT «KARYMSHINA» SITE IN KAMCHATKA

open access: yesVestnik KRAUNC: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2019
The results of complex observations of acoustic emission in the near surface rocks and by the ground surface in the atmosphere are presented. The observation instrumentation includes a laser strainmeter-interferometer and a microbarometer installed in ...

On cohomology of the Lie superalgebra D(2, 1 ; \alpha)

open access: yes, 2010
We describe the infinitesimal deformations of the standard embedding of the Lie superalgebra $D(2, 1 ; \alpha)$ into the Poisson superalgebra of pseudodifferential symbols on $S^{1|2}$.

Crustal deformation

open access: yesEos, Transactions American Geophysical Union, 1991
One of the lessons of geology, and now one of the tenets of plate tectonics theory, is that most of the Earth's crust does not deform very much. Most of the deformation takes place along the relatively narrow plate boundaries. Working out the details of how this deformation takes place, and the physics of the Earth revealed by it, is a major research ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

Geometric conditions for injectivity of 3D Bézier volumes

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
The one-to-one property of injectivity is a crucial concept in computer-aided design, geometry, and graphics. The injectivity of curves (or surfaces or volumes) means that there is no self-intersection in the curves (or surfaces or volumes) and their ...

Deformations of Lifshitz holography

open access: yes, 2009
The simplest gravity duals for quantum critical theories with z=2 `Lifshitz' scale invariance admit a marginally relevant deformation. Generic black holes in the bulk describe the field theory with a dynamically generated momentum scale Lambda as well as

Analysis of Treacher Collins syndrome 4‐associated mutations in Schizosaccharomyces pombe

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Fission yeast models carrying Treacher Collins syndrome type 4‐associated mutations reveal that impaired processivity of RNA polymerase I leads to defective rRNA transcription. This study highlights the essential role of a conserved arginine residue in Pol I elongation and provides mechanistic insight into the pathogenesis of ribosomopathies.

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

Leibniz algebra deformations of a Lie algebra

open access: yes, 2008
In this note we compute Leibniz algebra deformations of the 3-dimensional nilpotent Lie algebra $\mathfrak{n}_3$ and compare it with its Lie deformations. It turns out that there are 3 extra Leibniz deformations.
