The existence and singularity structure of low regularity solutions of higher-order degenerate hyperbolic equations [PDF]
This paper is a continuation of our previous work [21], where we have established that, for the second-order degenerate hyperbolic equation (\p_t^2-t^m\Delta_x)u=f(t,x,u), locally bounded, piecewise smooth solutions u(t,x) exist when the initial data (u,\

We study asymptotically constrained systems for numerical integration of the Einstein equations, which are intended to be robust against perturbative errors for the free evolution of the initial data.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

A 3D nanowire‐network SERS substrate with robust adhesion is developed, featuring pronounced z‐direction optical activity, ultralow detection limit (1.5 × 10−13 M), and excellent signal uniformity (RSD < 10%). Enabled by enhanced light scattering, increased optical density of states, and structural reinforcement, the substrate demonstrates stable, high‐

Mixed problem for a third order parabolic-hyperbolic model equation
In 1978, the journal Differential Equations published an article by A.M. Nakhushev, that presented a method for correctly formulating a boundary value problem for a class of second-order parabolic-hyperbolic equations in an arbitrarily bounded domain ...

Nonlocal degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations on bounded domains
We study well-posedness of degenerate mixed-type parabolic-hyperbolic equations \partial_{t}u+\operatorname{div}(f(u))=\mathcal{L}[b(u)] on bounded domains with general Dirichlet boundary/exterior conditions. The nonlocal diffusion operator \mathcal{L}

Self‐Hybridized Exciton‐Polariton Photodetectors From Layered Metal‐Organic Chalcogenolates
Self‐hybridized exciton‐polariton photodetectors are demonstrated using high refractive index mithrene, eliminating the need for top mirrors. This simplified architecture enables tunable sub‐bandgap photodetection via lower exciton‐polariton states and enhanced carrier transport through ultrafast polariton group velocities.

In this work, we study a nonlinear system of p-Biharmonic hyperbolic equations with degenerate damping and source terms in a bounded domain. Under appropriate assumptions on the initial data and the damping terms, we establish the global existence of ...

Smooth Solutions to a Class of Mixed Type Monge-Ampere Equations
We prove the existence of C^{\infty} local solutions to a class of mixed type Monge-Ampere equations in the plane. More precisely, the equation changes type to finite order across two smooth curves intersecting transversely at a point.

Neural cell–derived small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) are emerging as pivotal mediators in neurodegenerative diseases, exerting both pathogenic and therapeutic functions. This review synthesizes current evidence on how sEVs from distinct neural cell types regulate neurodegeneration, neuroprotection, biomarker discovery, and targeted drug delivery ...
