Self‐Driven Humidity Regulation via Hygroscopic Salt Cycling
A series of antimony‐based inorganic‐organic metal halides with gradient water adsorption capacities is designed. The controlled release of the hygroscopic salt ACl from them during adsorption and re‐capture of ACl during the desorption process is achieved. The chemical bonds' reorganization and energy release enable the self‐driven desorption.

The Effect of Air Purification on the Indoor Air Quality in Habitable New Zealand Buildings
Particulate matter (PM) in indoor air, including fungal spores and bacteria, poses significant health risks, especially in poorly constructed and inadequately ventilated buildings that are prevalent in New Zealand. To maintain acceptable living conditions, there is a need to explore ways in which fungal and bacterial populations in habitable buildings ...

Dual‐Responsive Yarn‐Based Artificial Muscles for Adaptive Thermal Management
Inspired by the conscious movements of skeletal muscle, a novel hybrid yarn‐based artificial muscle (HYAM) coupling moisture actuation with controllable recovery is developed. This unique design increases actuation stroke by 128% and shortens recovery time by 91%. This unique design enhances the actuation stroke by 128% and reduces the recovery time by

Exergy and Economic Analysis of Hybrid Mechanical Vapor Compression and Membrane Distillation
ABSTRACT Hybridization of two or more desalination processes has been identified as an attractive option for improved energy efficiency and recovery rate. To appropriately assess the performance enhancement of hybrid desalination systems, an integrated approach for energy, exergy, economic, and environmental investigations should be adopted. This study
