Imaging of RNA in situ hybridization by atomic force microscopy [PDF]
In this study we investigated the possibility of imaging internal cellular molecules after cytochemical detection with atomic force microscopy (AFM). To this end, rat 9G and HeLa cells were hybridized with haptenized probes for 28S ribosomal RNA, human ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Diarrhoea among Critically Ill Patients in Intensive Care Units: A Cross-sectional Study [PDF]
Introduction: Diarrhoea is common in critically ill patients that may be caused due to many factors such as Clostridium difficile, drugs (e.g., laxatives, antibiotics) and enteral feeds. The incidence of diarrhoea in the Intensive Care Units (ICU)

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Exercise-induced whole-body dehydration does not affect airway responsiveness in athletes but may impair small airway function [PDF]
Exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) is the transient narrowing of the airways that occurs during or shortly after strenuous exercise. Loss of water from the airway surface, due to the conditioning of large volumes of air during exercise, is the ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Determination of weight loss methods and effects among wrestlers before an official championship
IntroductionIt is known that combat athletes frequently lose weight before a competition. This study aimed to determine the weight loss methods before an official championship and the effects of these weight loss methods on the performance of wrestlers ...

Numerical method for solving multipoints elliptic-parabolic equation for dehydration process [PDF]
Drying is the oldest and efficient form of preserving fruits. This research focuses on the mathematical modeling of tropical fruits dehydration using instant controlled pressure drop (Détente Instantanée Controlée or known as DIC) technique.
