Effectiveness of Riboflavin in Inherited Metabolic Diseases: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Riboflavin (RF, vitamin B2) is an essential vitamin of which the co‐factors are critical to numerous cellular processes. RF is used as a treatment for inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs), although its effectiveness in many disorders has not been established.

Thermodynamic Insights Into Direct Methane to Methanol Conversion Using O2 and CO2 Oxidants

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
A thermodynamic analysis compares O2 and CO2 for the direct partial oxidation of methane to methanol. While O2 offers higher theoretical conversions, it poses safety risks and favors total oxidation. CO2 presents a safer, more sustainable alternative despite its thermodynamic limitations.

Dimensionality Engineering of 1D, 2D, and 3D High‐Entropy Alloys for Advanced Electrocatalysis

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
This review summarizes recent advances in the synthesis and electrocatalytic applications of high‐entropy alloys (HEAs) in 1D, 2D, and 3D forms. We highlight the unique structural advantages and superior performance of dimensionally engineered HEA in key electrocatalytic reactions, including water splitting, hydrogen oxidation, alcohol oxidation, CO2 ...
