Stabilization of delay-dependence for saturating actuator systems
[1991] Proceedings of the 30th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002A method which can be used to estimate the delay time for closed-loop stabilization with saturating actuators is presented. A Razumikhin theorem is employed to treat the problem. The checking of stabilization can be carried out rather simply via the proposed criterion. An example is given to illustrate the results obtained. >

New Delay-Dependent Stability Criteria and Stabilizing Method for Neutral Systems
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2004This note concerns delay-dependent robust stability criteria and a design method for stabilizing neutral systems with time-varying structured uncertainties. A new way of deriving such criteria is presented that combines the parameterized model transformation method with a method that takes the relationships between the terms in the Leibniz-Newton ...

Delay-Dependent Global Exponential Stability for Delayed Recurrent Neural Networks
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2017This paper deals with the global exponential stability for delayed recurrent neural networks (DRNNs). By constructing an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and adopting the reciprocally convex combination approach and Wirtinger-based integral inequality, delay-dependent global exponential stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix ...

Improved Delay-Dependent Asymptotic Stability Criteria for Delayed Neural Networks
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, 2008This brief is concerned with asymptotic stability of neural networks with uncertain delays. Two types of uncertain delays are considered: one is constant while the other is time varying. The discretized Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method is integrated with the technique of introducing the free-weighting matrix between the terms of the Leibniz ...

Delay-dependent robust stability and stabilization for systems with mismatched uncertainties
IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information, 2000Problems of robust stability analysis and robust feedback synthesis are considered for a class of linear dynamical systems with mismatched uncertainties and constant time delay in the state. The main focus is on deriving methods for robust stability and stabilization, which depend on the size of the delay and are appropriately expressed in the form of ...

Model transformation class for delay-dependent stability analysis
1999This paper focuses on some asymptotic stability problems of a class of linear difference-differential equations involving a single delay. Sufficient conditions (expressed in terms of LMIs) for computing the maximal allowable delay are proposed. The novelty of the approach lies on the use of some parametrized model transformations of the initial system.
