A High-Speed Fully Digital Phase-Synchronizer Implemented in a Field Programmable Gate Array Device
Most systems used in quantum physics experiments require the efficient and simultaneous recording different multi-photon coincidence detection events. In such experiments, the single-photon gated counting systems can be applicable.

Wide-bandwidth, tunable, multiple-pulse-width optical delays using slow light in cesium vapor [PDF]
We demonstrate an all-optical delay line in hot cesium vapor that tunably delays 275 ps input pulses up to 6.8 ns and 740 input ps pulses up to 59 ns (group index of approximately 200) with little pulse distortion.

ABSTRACT Introduction We developed MedSupport, a multilevel medication adherence intervention designed to address root barriers to medication adherence. This study sought to explore the feasibility and acceptability of the MedSupport intervention strategies to support a future full‐scale randomized controlled trial.

An Isolation Apparatus for CO2 Nanosecond Laser Systems
An isolation apparatus for far-infrared wavelengths was developed and integrated into a CO2 nanosecond laser system for performance evaluation. The apparatus uses a dual acousto-optic modulator (AOM) configuration combined with an image-relaying delay ...

Development and research of the structure of a digital frequency meter for an instantaneous frequency measurement system [PDF]
The article proposes a new method for measuring frequency based on a one-bit ADC. In contrast to the known method of measuring frequency using a delay line, the developed structure of a meter that implements the proposed method makes it possible to ...

Time-delayed beam splitting with energy separation of x-ray channels
We introduce a time-delayed beam splitting method based on the energy separation of x-ray photon beams. It is implemented and theoretically substantiated on an example of an x-ray optical scheme similar to that of the classical Michelson interferometer ...

When Queueing Meets Coding: Optimal-Latency Data Retrieving Scheme in Storage Clouds [PDF]
In this paper, we study the problem of reducing the delay of downloading data from cloud storage systems by leveraging multiple parallel threads, assuming that the data has been encoded and stored in the clouds using fixed rate forward error correction ...

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Osteosarcoma is a radioresistant tumor that may benefit from stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for locoregional control in metastatic/recurrent disease. We report institutional practice patterns, outcomes, toxicity, and failures in osteosarcoma patients treated with SBRT.
