Phenotype Expansion of Malan Syndrome: New Cases and a Review of the Literature
ABSTRACT Malan syndrome is an ultra‐rare overgrowth syndrome caused by pathogenic variants or deletions in nuclear factor one X (NFIX) located at 19p13.2. Here, we report a comprehensive literature review and phenotyping of known patients with Malan syndrome and present a novel cohort of eight patients.

On the relationship between period and cohort mortality [PDF]
In this paper I explore the formal relationship between period and cohort mortality, focusing on a comparison of measures of mean lifespan. I consider not only the usual measures (life expectancy at birth for time periods and birth cohorts) but also some

ABSTRACT The 2q31 region is commonly associated with pathogenic alleles of the HOXD cluster leading to various clinical phenotypes related to skeletal development. We present a proband with tetralogy of Fallot and multiple congenital anomalies. Genomic variant screening including an in‐house CGR detection pipeline pairing genome sequencing (GS ...

ABSTRACT The transformation/transcription domain‐associated protein (TRRAP) gene encodes a large multidomain protein, a member of the phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase‐related kinase (PIKK) family. TRRAP is a component of the histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complex, and it plays an important role in gene transcription, DNA repair, and cell‐cycle regulation.

Intertemporal Substitution in Labor Force Participation: Evidence from Policy Discontinuities [PDF]
This paper presents new empirical evidence on intertemporal labor supply elasticities. We use administrative data on the census of private sector employees in Austria and variation from mandated discontinuous changes in retirement benefits from the ...

ABSTRACT WAGR spectrum disorder (WAGRSD) is an ultra‐rare congenital disorder caused by heterozygous deletion of chromosome 11p13. While classically associated with Wilms tumor, Aniridia, Genitourinary anomalies, and a Range of developmental delays, accurate delineation of the deletion is critical for prognosis because the phenotypic spectrum extends ...

Value of Travel Time Reliability: A review of current evidence [PDF]
Travel time reliability is a fundamental factor in travel behavior. It represents the temporal uncertainty experienced by users in their movement between any two nodes in a network. The importance of the time reliability depends on the penalties incurred

ABSTRACT Heterozygous variants in the AHDC1 gene are associated with Xia Gibbs Syndrome (XGS), a genetic disorder with a highly variable phenotype. Cognitive impairment, motor delay, language delay, neonatal hypotonia, and sleep apnea are considered “cardinal” signs of the disease.

ABSTRACT Arrhythmias affect approximately half of patients with Costello syndrome (CS, OMIM # 218040), with non‐reentrant atrial tachycardia being the most common. This case describes an infant with Costello syndrome carrying the pathogenic HRAS c.34G>A (p.G12S) variant who developed early‐onset, drug‐refractory multifocal atrial tachycardia (MAT ...
