Characterization and Design Framework for Micro‐ and Nanoscale Printed Metal Interconnects in Hybrid Electronic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work establishes a framework for high‐resolution printed interconnects by coupling e‐jet printing control, multilayer deposition, and sintering optimization. Ink properties and printing speed influence particle stacking, while different sintering atmospheres drive distinct microstructural evolution.

The Disordered Region of ASXL1 Acts as an Auto‐Regulator Through Condensation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ASXL1's long IDR encodes an electrostatic “basic platform + acidic brake” that autoregulates condensation. Truncation at a clinical hotspot lifts this brake, forming condensates that retarget BRD2, remodel local chromatin accessibility, and impair neutrophil maturation.

Rural–urban disparities and factors associated with delayed care-seeking and testing for malaria before medication use by mothers of under-five children, Igabi LGA, Kaduna Nigeria

open access: yesMalaria Journal, 2020
Background Fever in under-five children (U5) is the commonest presenting complaint in general practice and mothers’ recognition is an entry point for fever treatment, including malaria. This study describes rural–urban disparity in fever prevalence in U5,

Metabolic Reprogramming Driven by Trophoblasts and Decidual XCR1+PMN‐MDSC Crosstalk Controls Adverse Outcomes Associated With Advanced Maternal Age

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The interaction between trophoblasts and decidual polymorphonuclear myeloid‐derived suppressor cells (dPMN‐MDSCs) via the XCL1–XCR1 axis is crucial for fetal development during the third trimester. Disruption of this axis impairs FOXO1 activity and causes metabolic imbalance in dPMN‐MDSCs, contributing to adverse outcomes associated with advanced ...

Percentile-Based Deep Reinforcement Learning and Reward Based Personalization For Delay Aware RAN Slicing in O-RAN

open access: yes
In this paper, we tackle the challenge of radio access network (RAN) slicing within an open RAN (O-RAN) architecture. Our focus centers on a network that includes multiple mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) competing for physical resource blocks (PRBs) with the goal of meeting probabilistic delay upper bound constraints for their clients while ...

Irgm1 Improves Postinfarction Cardiac Repair by Promoting Neutrophil Clearance and Efferocytosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Irgm1‐PDIA3 axis enhances post‐infarction cardiac repair by accelerating neutrophil clearance and facilitating efferocytosis. Irgm1 holds potential as a prognostic biomarker in MI, and LOC14 may represent a therapeutic option to improve cardiac repair, especially in cases of Irgm1 deficiency.

A Protein‐Centric Strategy Coupled with Match‐Between‐Run Glycoproteomics Enables Discovery of Robust Site‐Specific Glycan Biomarkers for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a highly robust N‐glycoproteomics (HRN) platform with a newly developed match‐between‐run scheme is used for biomarker discovery. This study proposes a protein‐centric strategy to prioritize proteins susceptible to aberrant glycosylation.

Direct Recycling of Mixed‐Oxide Cathodes: Balancing Cost, Performance and Environmental Trade‐Offs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Direct regeneration routes for mixed‐oxide lithium‐ion battery cathodes are systematically compared using harmonized techno‐economic, electrochemical, and environmental metrics. Solid‐state, hydrothermal, molten salt, electrochemical, and chemical relithiation methods are benchmarked to identify performance, cost, and sustainability trade‐offs.

Early Postoperative Benefits in Receptive and Expressive Language Development After Cochlear Implantation Under 9 Months of Age in Comparison to Implantation at Later Ages [PDF]

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Otorhinolaryngology
Objectives. The recent expansion of eligibility for cochlear implantation (CI) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to include infants as young as 9 months has reignited debates concerning the clinically appropriate cut-off age for pediatric CI.
