Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Evaluation of Efficacy of Immediate and Delayed Loading of Dental Implants: A Prospective study
INTRODUCTION: The ability of implants to osseointegrate made them better replacement option for missing tooth. After understanding the healing cascade around implants, loading was done immediately following implant placement and was termed as Immediate ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Load balancing - towards balanced delay guarantees in NFV/SDN
The goals of load balancing are diverse. We may distribute the load to servers in order to achieve the same utilizations or average latencies. However, these goods are not a perfect fit in virtualized or software-defined networks. First, it is more difficult to assume homogeneous server capacities.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Delayed-Damage Modelling for Fracture Prediction of Laminated Composites under Dynamic Loading
The basic aspects of a damage meso-model with delay effects for laminated composites are presented. The applications concern fracture prediction under severe and multiaxial dynamic loading.
