Bs Physics at LEP, SLD, and CDF: Delta m_s and Delta Gamma_s

open access: yes, 2001
The current status of the experimental knowledge of $\Bs$ meson physics is reviewed. Results from LEP and CDF on the width difference $\dgs$ are presented, the corresponding average is found to be in good agreement with the present theoretical estimation.

Neonatal seizures: Advances in diagnosis and management

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) created the ILAE Neonatal Task Force that classified neonatal seizures, defined neonatal epilepsy syndromes, and specified treatment guidelines. These frameworks, in addition to improved access to genetic testing and other recent advances, have revolutionized the diagnosis and management of ...

Work Has Changed, Has HRM? Designing for the Distributed, Fragmented, and Fluid Era

open access: yesHuman Resource Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper addresses the growing misalignment between traditional human resource management (HRM) systems and the realities of distributed, fluid, and fragmented work. To address this issue, we introduce the FLUID‐HRM framework—a layered design architecture that reconfigures core HRM domains (resourcing, rewards, development, relations, work ...

Search for one large extra dimension with the DELPHI detector at LEP2 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Single photons detected by the DELPHI experiment at LEP2 in the years 1997-2000 are used to investigate the existence of a single extra dimension in a modifed ADD scenario with slightly warped large extra dimensions.

A comparison by mismatch repair status of real‐world characteristics and outcomes in patients with stage II/III rectal cancer in the Netherlands

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? Mismatch repair deficiency (dMMR) in rectal cancer is rare, and knowledge about tumor biological behavior, response to treatment, and clinical outcomes in this subset of patients is limited. This nationwide cohort study including 182 patients with dMMR rectal cancer found that they were younger and had more poorly differentiated tumors ...

Detection of obstetric anal sphincter injuries: From the fear of malpractice to a quality indicator of a center

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIs) constitute a significant complication in vaginal childbirth, affecting up to 26% of deliveries and representing the leading cause of anal incontinence among women. Despite their prevalence and serious long‐term consequences, OASIs remain widely underreported, partly because of clinicians' hesitancy ...
