Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) mutations are highly recurrent in multiple human cancer types, including cholangiocarcinoma and glioma. IDH1 R132C is the most common IDH1 mutation in cholangiocarcinoma and likely arises from APOBEC3A‐ or APOBEC3B‐mediated deamination.

Targeting the EpCAM‐AXL axis to overcome drug resistance in lung cancer
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Lung cancer cells often evade therapy by hijacking signaling pathways. We reveal that cleaved EpCAM (sEpCAM) stabilizes the oncogenic protein AXL, driving NF‐κB and STAT3‐mediated chemoresistance. This EpCAM‐AXL axis identifies a high‐risk patient subset with poor prognosis.
