XAHRM‐Lab First Results and πXRF First View of UFe4Al8 and UFe10Si2

open access: yesX-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Following the installation of the Laboratory for the Characterization and Speciation of Aerosols (LCEA) in 2008, and the confirmation of High Resolution Energy Dispersive Spectrometry (HiREDS) as a much promising development for X‐ray Emission Spectrometry in general and Particle Induced X‐ray Emission (PIXE) in particular, the installation of

The First Archaeomagnetic Age at Tiwanaku and Implications for Dating Andean Metallurgical Furnaces

open access: yesArchaeometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper presents the first archaeomagnetic dating at Tiwanaku (Andean Altiplano). We compared the geomagnetic field values recorded by a metallurgical furnace against an updated SHAWQ2k‐SH global model and a regional intensity curve, both of which include, for the first time, high‐quality intensity data from the Southern Hemisphere. Results

Role of initial magnetic disorder: A time-dependent ab initio study of ultrafast demagnetization mechanisms

open access: yesScience Advances, 2019
We investigate laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization of ferromagnetic systems for high-speed data processing and storage. Despite more than 20 years of development, the underlying physics of the laser-induced demagnetization process is still debated ...

Analytical Prediction of Partial Demagnetization in Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Using Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Modeling

open access: yesIEEE Access
In Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) for railway traction applications, irreversible demagnetization of permanent magnets can lead to severe degradation in motor performance and even system failure.

Exploiting Two‐Photon Lithography, Deposition, and Processing to Realize Complex 3D Magnetic Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 20, 9 March 2026.
Two‐photon lithography (TPL) enables 3D magnetic nanostructures with unmatched freedom in geometry and material choice. Advances in voxel control, deposition, and functionalization open pathways to artificial spin ices, racetracks, microrobots, and a number of additional technological applications.

Ultrafast dynamics of 4f electron spins in TbFeCo film driven by inter-atomic 3d–5d–4f exchange coupling

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2019
The ultrafast demagnetization dynamics of 3d and 4f spins, respectively, in FeCo and Tb of TbFeCo alloy film are studied independently by employing a dual-color time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr spectroscopy.

Thickness‐Dependent Skyrmion Evolution in Fe3GeTe2 During Magnetization Reversal

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 18, 2 March 2026.
Thickness‐ and field‐dependent magnetic domain behavior in 2D van der Waals Fe3GeTe2 is studied using Lorentz TEM and micromagnetic simulations. A patch‐like domain phase evolves from skyrmions during magnetization reversal, and step edges between thickness regions act as pinning sites.

Non‐Destructive Laser Nanopatterning of Superconducting Heterostructures in Topological Sn Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 13, 3 March 2026.
We demonstrate successful fabrication of high‐quality α‐Sn/β‐Sn planar nanostructures with arbitrary shapes by focused laser irradiation on topological Dirac semimetal α‐Sn thin films. The irradiated regions transform into atomically smooth, superconducting β‐Sn with a critical temperature of 3.7 K.

Dependence Influence of Electro-Magnetic Field Parameters Demagnetization Quality of Ferro-Magnetic Bodies on Initial Value of Demagnetizing Field

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений и энергетических объединенний СНГ: Энергетика, 2010
The paper has experimentally determined that while demagnetizing ferro-magnetic bodies value of residual demagnetization depends on the first impulse amplitude of  the demagnetizing field.
