Low-temperature demagnetization and ice-pressure demagnetization in magnetite and haematite [PDF]
SUMMARY Low-temperature demagnetization (LTD) is confirmed as an effective method of removing soft (low coercivity) components of remanence in magnetite-bearing specimens by passing the magnetite through its low-temperature transition (?130 K). Haematite has its low-temperature transition at approximately 258 K.

Magnetic soft robots offer promise in biomedicine due to their wireless actuation and rapid response, but current fabrication methods are complex and have limited cellular compatibility. A new, contactless bioassembly strategy using hydrodynamic instabilities is introduced, enabling customizable, centimeter‐scale robots.

Ultrafast demagnetization in the sp-d model: a theoretical study
We propose and analyze a theoretical model of ultrafast light-induced magnetization dynamics in systems of localized spins that are coupled to carriers' spins by sp-d exchange interaction.

Ultrafast Transitions in X‐Ray Irradiated Solids
ABSTRACT In this review, we present current developments on modeling ultrafast transitions in solids triggered by intense, atto‐ to femtosecond pulses from X‐ray free electron lasers. This specific irradiation regime requires dedicated simulation tools based on theoretical and computational methods, involving the elements of classical and quantum ...

We systematically summarize how each scale dictates fundamental choices in design feature, manufacturing technology, driving mechanism, and control strategy, which are inherently governed by scale‐dominated physical principles. Furthermore, the application of scale‐determined operation modes of microrobots across different stages of medical ...
