Magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) enable fully wireless, minutely invasive neuromodulation, and potentially neural recording, by converting magnetic into electric and, conversely, electric into magnetic fields, respectively, at high spatiotemporal resolution.

Tuning the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction in Pt/Co/MgO heterostructures through MgO thickness [PDF]
The interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) in the ferromagnetic/heavy metal ultra-thin film structures , has attracted a lot of attention thanks to its capability to stabilize Neel-type domain walls (DWs) and magnetic skyrmions for the ...

This work proposes a high static magnetic field (HSMF) driven dual‐low‐dimension strategy for fabricating magnetic‐dielectric heterostructure (Fe3O4@MoS2) chains with programmable lengths. The constructed successive magnetic‐dielectric synergy, arising from uniaxial anisotropy‐enhanced magnetic response and abundant heterointerfaces that boost ...

Micromagnetic simulations of first-order reversal curves in nanowire arrays using MuMax3
We perform simulations of magnetic reversal in a 3 × 3 array of nanowires using MuMax3 micromagnetic simulation program. We record a series of first-order reversal curves (FORCs) that form distinct branches of ascending minor curves depending on the ...

Asymmetric Multi‐Site Ion Exchange in Porous Carbon Electrodes
A lognormal‐distribution 2D EXSY NMR framework uncovers the full spectrum of ion dynamics in hierarchical porous carbons, bridging fast surface exchange and confined in‐pore transport—establishing structure–transport relationships for next‐generation energy storage, gas storage, and ion removal materials.

Modelling of a Magnetostrictive Torque Sensor
Existing magnetostrictive torque sensor designs typically measure the rotation of the saturation magnetization under an applied torque and their theoretical treatment revolves around the minimization of the free energy equation adapted according to the ...

Demagnetization Study of Pulse-Field Magnetized Bulk Superconductors [PDF]
GdBa2Cu3O7-δ bulk superconductors are a route to higher magnetic fields in rotating machines. Here, we examine the resistance of pulse-field magnetized bulks to the demagnetization fields they may experience in such a system. The bulks were magnetized at 77 K, after which several thousand cycles of AC field were applied.

Harnessing Digital Microstructure for Simulation‐Guided Optimization of Permanent Magnets
An experimental‐to‐computational workflow is presented that transforms experimental 3D focused ion beam‐scanning electron microscopy data into a simulation‐ready digital microstructure for multiphase functional materials. Using heavy‐rare‐earth‐free Nd–Fe–B magnets as a model system, the approach quantifies grain connectivity across complex secondary ...

Determination of activation volumes of reversal in perpendicular media [PDF]
We discuss a method for the determination of activation volumes of reversal in perpendicular media. This method does not require correction for the self-demagnetizing field normally associated with these media.
