Single‐cell and transcriptomics from 1.79 million cells identify the forestomach epithelium as the dominant site of antioxidant activity and oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) in the bovine gastrointestinal tract. Along the basal‐to‐luminal differentiation axis, antioxidant capacity and OXPHOS rise in a coordinated metabolic–redox gradient.

An Improved Evidential-IOWA Sensor Data Fusion Approach in Fault Diagnosis
As an important tool of information fusion, Dempster–Shafer evidence theory is widely applied in handling the uncertain information in fault diagnosis. However, an incorrect result may be obtained if the combined evidence is highly conflicting, which may

Addressing the Exception Prioritization Problem in Continuous Auditing Systems With Thresholding
ABSTRACT Continuous auditing research has grappled with the challenge of managing the abundance of detected exceptions in internal audit applications for the past 30 years. A key issue in continuous auditing involves the uncontrolled proliferation of exceptions, where the sheer volume makes manual follow‐up impractical, undermining the viability of the

UNCERTAINTY ASSESSMENT OF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TIMES
This thesis demonstrates the use of the Dempster-Shafer Theory of evidence as a decision aid to specify maintenance time during wartime operations, by the help of expert judgment elicitation. This more precise time estimation enables the decision maker

ABSTRACT Current assessments of port resilience primarily focus on the risks affecting its operations, often neglecting the ripple effects across different subsystems within a port. In multimodal container ports, these sub‐systems include liner shipping, feeder shipping, railways, and trucking. Moreover, prevailing research predominantly addresses port

Abstract High‐resolution time series of burned area derived from Sentinel‐2 can advance understanding of the determinants and dynamics of fire by incorporating small fires previously excluded from regional analyses. Here, we assessed the drivers of fire frequency, size, and seasonality across Southeastern Africa comparing fine (Sentinel‐2 MSI) and ...
