All-Optical OFDM Demultiplexer Based on an Integrated Silicon-on-Insulator Technique
An all-optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) demultiplexer based on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) waveguide technology is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Such an integrated structure performing a discrete Fourier transform (DFT)

Broadband Electromagnetic Field Prediction at Unseen Wavelengths via Physics‐Guided Neural Operators
A physics‐guided neural operator is trained on electromagnetic field distributions at discrete wavelengths across diverse nanophotonic structures. At inference, given any permittivity map and query wavelength, the model predicts continuous broadband electric‐field distributions with full‐wave accuracy, including wavelengths unseen during training ...

Wavelength Demultiplexer using Heterostructure Ring Resonators in Triangular Photonic Crystals [PDF]
In this paper a new type of wavelength demultiplexer using ring resonators in 2D triangular photonic crystal is presented. The designed demultiplexer contents two regions which each own a resonator. Two dielectric constants are used in this demultiplexer.

100-Gbit/s operation of an all-optical demultiplexer
Recently, an all optical demultiplexer especially applicable to optical time division multiplexed (OTDM) systems has been demonstrated, as well as its operation in a laboratory OTDM system with an aggregate bandwidth of 50 Gbit/s.

Microfluidic Valve‐Integrated Garment for Smooth Sequential Gradient Mechanotherapy
We present a soft wearable sleeve that delivers smooth, gap‐free compression using overlapping air‐filled actuators and tiny microfluidic valves. The system reduces bulk, lowers power needs, and uses a smartphone‐sized control box. It can provide sequential gradient compression, gradient pressure holding, and fast deflation, supporting more portable ...

An Eight-Channel C-Band Demux Based on Multicore Photonic Crystal Fiber
A novel eight-channel demux device based on multicore photonic crystal fiber (PCF) structures that operate in the C-band range (1530–1565 nm) has been demonstrated. The PCF demux design is based on replacing some air-hole areas with lithium niobate
