Se reporta un caso de miasis en un individuo adulto de Ameerega bassleri, observado en el kilómetro 18 de la carretera Tarapoto–Yurimaguas, región San Martín (Perú). La observación ocurrió el 5 de febrero de 2025 a las 22:33 h.
