In dealing with limitations in dental education, we are brought face to face with their greatest evil—di-divorcement of dental from medical teaching. Removal of a special department from general medicine and tuition along narrow lines have so narrowed teaching that even diseases of the general system which affect the mouth, jaws and teeth are excluded.
