The value of imbibition and syneresis for dental impression on red seaweed: a laboratory experiment
Introduction: Alginate is a type of elastic dental impression, which is an irreversible hydrocolloid. The main components in sodium alginate can be obtained naturally through the extraction process from seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii).

Understanding the Effects of Conductive Polymer Electrode Coating on Recorded Neural Signals
Conductive polymer coatings are widely explored to improve the quality of signals recorded with chronically implanted neural electrodes, offering enhanced biocompatibility along with reduced electrode impedance. Combining computational modelling and data from PEDOT:PTS coated and PtIr electrodes in rats, we show that improvements in signal quality with

Use of Irreversible Hydrocolloid to Blockout Interproximal Spaces for an Easy Impression Taking
Making impression to obtain an accurate working cast needs to use accurate impression materials such as polyether. On the other hand, polyether cannot be used easily in places with undercut such as excessive interproximal spaces and under the pontics of ...

Study on Dental Impression Materials
The consequence of the compression test in Alginase impression materials was informe in former paper (1), but the test needs more time than handling in clinic. As the result of measurements in various way, the reported method is confirmed that it is effective way for quality determination.Changing the ratio of impression paste-plaster has little effect

Design and Synthesis of Peptide‐Polyester Conjugates for Cell‐Mediated Scaffold Degradation
This work describes polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based biomaterials engineered to degrade in response to cell‐secreted proteases. A fast‐degrading peptide (Fast) sequence is integrated into a PCL conjugate backbone to produce a biomaterial that is selectively degraded by multiple cell types compared to its scrambled control (ScrFast).
