Modeling mammalian gastrulation with embryonic stem cells [PDF]
Understanding cell fate patterning and morphogenesis in the mammalian embryo remains a formidable challenge. Recently, in vivo models based on embryonic stem cells (ESCs) have emerged as complementary methods to quantitatively dissect the physical and molecular processes that shape the embryo.

ABSTRACT Background Evidence suggests that pediatric patients requiring endodontic treatment in the permanent dentition are often a “missed population”. Aim This study surveyed pediatric dentists and endodontists about the frequency with which they encounter pediatric patients requiring endodontic treatment, their training, practice patterns, and ...

Using Dental Stem Cells to Regenerate Tooth Tissue and Whole Tooth Replacement [PDF]
Irreversible dental problems such as dental carries and periodontal disease create a plethora of general and oral health issues. Although there are solutions to treat these different problems, an emphasis has been placed on finding a solution to these ...

PULP: Inner-process Isolation based on the Program Counter and Data Memory Address [PDF]
Plenty of in-process vulnerabilities are blamed on various out of bound memory accesses. Previous prevention methods are mainly based on software checking associated with performance overhead, while traditional hardware protection mechanisms only work for inter-process memory accesses.

Application of dental pulp stem cells for bone regeneration
Bone defects resulting from severe trauma, tumors, inflammation, and other factors are increasingly prevalent. Stem cell-based therapies have emerged as a promising alternative. Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs), sourced from dental pulp, have garnered significant attention owing to their ready accessibility and minimal collection-associated risks ...

Using microtomographic scans of modern human arm and forearm bones and anterior dentition, we quantified cortical bone and dentine volumes and their topographic distribution. Our results revealed a co‐variation between cortical bone and dentine volumes, suggesting shared factors influencing their postnatal development.

Characterization of Stem Cells Obtained from the Dental Pulp and Periodontal Ligament of Deciduous Teeth [PDF]
Many studies have found adult stem cells in human teeth or correlated tissues. However, most of these stem cells were found in the permanent teeth or pulp from exfoliated deciduous teeth.
