An effective temporary repair of fractured poreclain denture teeth involves abrasive treatment of the fractured tooth surface followed by a composite resin buildup. This study has demonstrated that the best potential retention of the composite buildup can be obtained through abrasive treatment by a course diamond stone.

Clasp repair for removable partial dentures

Summary A method has been described for replacing fractured clasps with cast components attached by soldering to other metallic portions or attached to the denture base with cold-curing acrylic resin. The technique is a useful approach to solving the recurring problem of repairing removable partial dentures.
