Metalloporphyrin/Phthalocyanine Catalysts for Electrocatalytic Nitrogen Fixation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 40, October 27, 2025.
This review focuses on the application of metal porphyrin/phthalocyanine‐based catalysts in electrocatalytic nitrogen fixation. The detailed examination encompasses the structure and modification strategies of metal porphyrin/phthalocyanine‐based catalysts, their application in electrocatalytic nitrogen fixation, and the associated reaction mechanisms.

Spinless impurities in high Tc cuprates: Kondo-like behavior

open access: yes, 1999
We compare the effects of in-plane non magnetic Li$^{+}$ and Zn$^{2+}$ impurities on the normal state of high-T$_{c}$ cuprates. Y NMR shows that the extra hole introduced by Li is not localized in its vicinity.

Thermally Conductive Buried Aluminum Nitride for Next Generation Silicon‐on‐Insulator

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 15, September 18, 2025.
Aluminum nitride (AlN) is proposed as buried insulating layer for next‐generation silicon‐on‐insulator (SOI) substrates. This work explores sputtering, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and metalorganic vapour phase epitaxy (MOVPE) AlN film to realize an AlN‐SOI platform.

GaAs droplet quantum dots with nanometer-thin capping layer for plasmonic applications

open access: yes, 2017
We report on the growth and optical characterisation of droplet GaAs quantum dots with extremely-thin (11 nm) capping layers. To achieve such result, an internal thermal heating step is introduced during the growth and its role in the morphological ...

Effect of the changed electrolytic cell on the current efficiency in FFC Cambridge process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Low current efficiency of the FFC Cambridge process made it no obvious advantages in cost compared with the traditional process to produce metals. Effect of the changed electrolysis cell on the current efficiency has been studied. Put the cathode into an

Influence of Al on Evolution of the Inclusions in Ti-Bearing Steel with Ca Treatment

open access: yesMetals, 2019
Experimental simulations of steelmaking with different amounts of aluminum were achieved in the tube furnace at 1873 K and field scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (FE-SEM and EDX) were employed to explore the ...

Detection of bottom ferromagnetic electrode oxidation in magnetic tunnel junctions by magnetometry measurements

open access: yes, 2010
Surface oxidation of the bottom ferromagnetic (FM) electrode, one of the major detrimental factors to the performance of a Magnetic Tunnel Junction (MTJ), is difficult to avoid during the fabrication process of the MTJ's tunnel barrier.
