The effects of extended depletion region on noise modeling of HEMT's [PDF]
In this paper we present a high frequency noise model for short channel HEMTs.This model takes into account the effect of depletion region that extends into gate to drain spacing.The effect of this high field extension region on the noise performance of three HEMT structures is analytically calculated and compared with measured data.

Monomer concentration profile in the depletion region
We study by Monte Carlo simulation the monomer concentration profile of the dilute solution of linear chain polymers in the depletion region near an impenetrable but otherwise non-interacting wall. Only the case of a good solvent is treated here but we allow both for flexible and semi-flexible chains.
