Abstract Objective Ketogenic dietary therapies can reduce seizure frequency in drug‐resistant epilepsy, but adherence to the classical ketogenic diet is often poor. Intermittent fasting supplemented with medium‐chain triglycerides (MCTs) may offer a more feasible and less restrictive alternative.

Abstract There has been growing evidence that perturbations in gut‐microbiota‐brain axis (GMBA) are involved in mechanisms of chronic sequelae of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Abstract Epilepsy syndromes are distinct electroclinical entities which have been recently defined by the International League Against Epilepsy Nosology and Definitions Task Force.
