Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Painting Path Planning for a Painting Robot with a RealSense Depth Sensor

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
The utilization of stereo cameras in robotic applications is presented in this paper. The use of a stereo depth sensor is a principal step in robotics applications, since it is the first step in sequences of robotic actions where the intent is to detect ...

Temporal shape super-resolution by intra-frame motion encoding using high-fps structured light

open access: yes, 2017
One of the solutions of depth imaging of moving scene is to project a static pattern on the object and use just a single image for reconstruction. However, if the motion of the object is too fast with respect to the exposure time of the image sensor ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

The Development of a Sorting System Based on Point Cloud Weight Estimation for Fattening Pigs

open access: yesAgriculture
As large-scale and intensive fattening pig farming has become mainstream, the increase in farm size has led to more severe issues related to the hierarchy within pig groups.

Depth-dependent dispersion compensation for full-depth OCT image

open access: yesOptics Express, 2017
A depth-dependent dispersion compensation algorithm for enhancing the image quality of the Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) is presented. The dispersion related with depth in the sample is considered. Using the iterative method, an analytical formula for compensating the depth-dependent dispersion in the sample is obtained.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Automatic Detection Method of Dairy Cow Lameness from Top-view Based on the Fusion of Spatiotemporal Stream Features

open access: yes智慧农业
ObjectiveThe detection of lameness in dairy cows is an important issue that needs to be solved urgently in the process of large-scale dairy farming. Timely detection and effective intervention can reduce the culling rate of young dairy cows, which has ...

Image Depth Detection System

open access: yesElectronics and Control Systems, 2022
The article will be intended to explain the Image Depth Detection System, which in turn should perform all the necessary functions for detecting objects on a 3D scene, obtaining information about the sizes of bodies, and determining distances to certain bodies.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...
