Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

On Minimum Depth of Cut in nanomachining [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The concept of Minimum Depth of Cut (MDC) is that the depth of cut must be over a certain critical thickness before any chip is formed. It is actually a major limiting factor on achievable accuracy in nanomachining, because the generated surface roughness is primarily attributed to the ploughing process when the uncut chip thickness is less than the ...

Investigation on Depth of Cut by Varying Cutting Parameters for Single Pass Cutting On CO2 Laser

open access: yesInternational Journal of Innovative Research in Science, Engineering and Technology, 2014
Emergence of advanced engineering materials, stringent design requirements, intricate shape and unusual size of workpiece restrict the use of conventional machining methods. Laser Beam Machining (LBM) is one of the advance manufacturing processes which are used for shaping almost whole range of engineering materials.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
