Background: The D-Dimer (DD) test, used to rule out pulmonary embolism (PE), is less useful in elderly patients due to a lower specificity. We retrospectively derived and validated the efficacy of an age- dependent DD cut-off combined with clinical ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A DSL-based Approach to Product Derivation for Software Product Line
Product derivation is an important part of the Software Product Line (SPL) development process. The quality of a product derivation process has a direct impact in decreasing software product costs and time-to-market. In this paper, we present an approach

On the Structural Behavior of Multiplicative (Generalized)-Derivations via d-Algebra Structures
In the context of a d-algebra structure ℧,∗,0, this paper aims to introduce the concept of a multiplicative (generalized)-derivation G associated with a self-map Ξ (not necessarily a derivation).

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.
